An appeal of the administrative decision granting a special administrative permit (SAP) for the construction of the Quik Trip gas station / megaplex at the corners of Chattahoochee, Howell Mill, and Defoors was files. A copy of the appeal is linked here. This has been assigned case number V-14-192. The case will be heard by the Board of Zoning Adjustment (BZA) on November 6th. It will be helpful to have a good turnout from the neighborhood at that hearing, with all individuals wearing green.
This development violates numerous BeltLine Overlay zoning regulations, and the variances do not provide “equal or greater protection to the public” as required by city ordinance.
